Boat & Yacht Rentals — FAQs

What is included with my boat or yacht rental?

Inclusions vary by vessel. Most charters include a professional captain, fuel, ice, and water. Additional amenities and services may be included depending on the boat or yacht selected. Please review the individual vessel description on our website for a complete list of inclusions.

Where can we go on our charter?

Available destinations depend on the vessel, departure location, charter duration, and marine conditions. Popular destinations include Icacos, Palomino, Culebra, and Vieques. All charter quotes include one destination unless otherwise specified.

Are your boat and yacht rentals private?

Yes. All of our boat and yacht rentals are private charters, reserved exclusively for your group and the vessel's crew.
How many guests can we bring?

Passenger capacity varies by vessel. Most of our private charters accommodate between 6 and 13 guests, while select larger vessels can accommodate approximately 42–60 guests.
The maximum passenger capacity is listed in each vessel's description on our website.
For larger groups, we can also coordinate multiple vessels or recommend the best charter option based on your group size.

How do I book and secure my boat or yacht?

Once availability is confirmed, a 50% deposit is required to secure your vessel and reservation. The remaining 50% balance is due 20 days before your scheduled charter date.

For reservations made 20 days or less before the charter date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Your reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit or full payment has been received.
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and wire transfers. Cash payments are not accepted.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Our cancellation policy is based on how far in advance you cancel your reservation:

-
20 days or more before your charter: Full refund, less applicable processing fees.
-
10–19 days before your charter: 80% refund.
-
9 days or less before your charter: No refund.
If your charter is canceled by our Operations Team or Captain due to unsafe weather or marine conditions, you will receive a 100% refund.

Do you offer transportation to and from the marina?

Yes. Private round-trip transportation can be added to select charters from San Juan, Dorado, and other areas of Puerto Rico upon request. Availability and pricing depend on your pickup location and group size.
Can we charter a boat or yacht to Culebra or Vieques?

Yes. Select vessels are available for private charters to Culebra and Vieques. These destinations typically require a longer charter duration and are subject to vessel availability and marine conditions.
How long does it take to reach Icacos or Palomino?

Travel time to Icacos or Palomino is typically approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on the departure marina, vessel, and marine conditions on the day of your charter.
How long does it take to reach Culebra or Vieques?

Travel time to Culebra is typically approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Travel time to Vieques is typically approximately 45–60 minutes.
Travel times are estimates and may vary depending on the vessel, departure location, and marine conditions.

Can we customize our charter?

Yes. We offer a variety of optional services and upgrades to personalize your charter, including private transportation, onboard chef service, beverage packages, Jet Skis, Seabobs, and other options.
Add-ons vary by vessel and are subject to availability.
Can we add food and drinks to our charter?

Yes. Food and beverage options can be arranged for select vessels, including beverage packages and private chef service.
Some vessels may already include light snacks, water, ice, and a cooler. Please review your selected vessel's inclusions for specific details.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Policies vary by vessel. Many charters allow guests to bring their own food and beverages; however, restrictions may apply. Please confirm with our reservations team before your charter.
We can also assist with arranging food, beverages, and other onboard options for your group.
What happens if there is bad weather?

Your safety is our priority. Our Operations Team and Captain monitor marine and weather conditions and make the final determination regarding whether the charter can operate safely.
If your charter is canceled by our Operations Team or Captain due to unsafe weather or marine conditions, you will receive a 100% refund.
What time should we arrive for our charter?

We recommend arriving at the marina at least 25 minutes before your scheduled charter departure time to allow sufficient time for check-in and boarding.
Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled charter duration.
What do I need to bring for check-in?

The primary charterer must present a valid photo ID and the same payment card used to make the reservation.
Identification may also be requested before the charter as part of our booking and verification process.
Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included unless specifically stated in your reservation. A 10% gratuity for the Captain and crew is customary and greatly appreciated for excellent service.
Are children allowed on private charters?

Yes. Children are welcome aboard many of our vessels. Age requirements and safety considerations may vary depending on the vessel, destination, and marine conditions.
When booking, please include the ages of any children in your group so we can help recommend the most appropriate charter.
Where do the boats and yachts depart from?

Departure locations vary depending on the vessel and destination selected. Many of our Icacos, Palomino, Culebra, and Vieques charters depart from marinas in the Fajardo area.
We also offer select charter options departing from San Juan and Puerto Rico's south coast.
Your exact marina location, check-in time, and arrival instructions will be provided with your reservation.
How long are the charters?

Charter duration varies by vessel and destination. We offer half-day, full-day, and other charter options depending on the experience selected.

Longer-distance destinations such as Culebra and Vieques generally require a full-day charter. Available durations are listed with each vessel on our website.
